newly elected Democratic Congressional Representatives are vowing to not support Nancy Pelosi for Speaker. Sowing discord among us is exactly what Russians and Republicans want. I suggest we each contact our representative and urge her/him to support Nancy as speaker. Our voices will be listened to. If any one here on DU is upset by this news and lives in a district represented by one of the "newbies" who are creating this mess, it is especially important for you to let your representative know how you feel.

They did the same thing the last election. And the one before. And yes, it's the same "Moderate" and Conservi-Dem voices who don't want that "West Coast" feminist/Gay friendly liberalism and job-killing environmentalism.
However, we have some good whips, and even though many of the new representatives ran against Pelosi, without solid competition - unless they want a Republican to be in charge, they'll end up voting for her. Especially if she and her committee leads ensure everyone knows what the Democratic plank really is, instead of what Faux News and the GOP claim it is.

It will pass. Just a bunch of Wormtongues, whose lies are exposed when the sun hits them.
