Republicans demonize anyone they see as a threat.
Pelosi has been demonized for years and I'll bet the Democrats who are against her have simply been pursuaded by this propaganda.
They don't realize that they are playing right into Republican hands by doing so.

1. I think this is a great opportunity for Nancy to turn that demonization around

She should be ballyhooed as "champion of Obamacare". Obamacare is now extremely popular and if Nancy can be portrayed as the congress member most responsible for its passing and as the person who will push to improve it, I bet she could turn her popularity numbers around since most people probably are not aware of how much she did to get it passed.

2. The threat of losing Healthcare, because of the republicans, is what caused the loss

of a lot of republican seats in this election.

It was Pelosi's relentless fight that gave us this necessary HC policy.
Far from the perfect original version & picked apart by the Republicans that year, Pelosi & her team handed President Obama the win for his Healthcare legacy.
