Ginsburg attends Medal of Freedom ceremony amid recovery from fall

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg attended a White House ceremony awarding the Medal of Freedom on Friday, just over a week after she was hospitalized from a fall that left her with three fractured ribs.

“Glad to see you're feeling great,” President Trump said at the ceremony when he saw Ginsburg in the audience.

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who was one of the award's recipients, also posted a picture of him hugging Ginsburg at the ceremony, writing “Thrilled to see Justice Ginsburg doing so well."

The ceremony also honored Ginsburg's former colleague, the late Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia, musician Elvis Presley, baseball Hall of Famer Babe Ruth and Miriam Adelson, the wife of GOP mega-donor Sheldon Adelson, among others.
