Looking at President Trump's reaction to the CIA's stunning conclusion that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered at the direction of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, one can't help but wonder what debt (monetary and otherwise) the President and his family may have with the Saudis.

Every day it is a new crisis further dividing an already polarized county. How, when or if it will come to an end is starting to take a toll. I sure don't welcome the faction trying to take over the speaker ship either. Especially the new members who seem to be just attempting to get press coverage for national recognition.

condone what the Saudi prince did to K? This guy is a brutal murderer...rump and cronies are bending over backwards and almost kissing their posteriors in their desire to ignore these atrocities done by the SA for money (of which how much will we ever see of it?, less than 1% of it I bet).

Khashoggi's death was a pure assination... ordered by the prince himself....

In another era... The UNITED STATES would have been Appalled.. and would have punished Saudi Arabia...

In the era of trump... we looked the other way...

I've been to Saudi Arabia.... they do nothing for me... for allies... they treated me and my friends like shit because we were Americans...

I'm from the Vietnam era, obvs. much older than you. But I learned a long time ago that service to one's country should always be appreciated and thanked. Regardless how anyone feels about the war in Iraq, the men and women who fought (and died) there are heroes and deserving of our thanks.

I had 2 friends die. When the alive ones came back, I think it was one of the darkest points in American history. The folks that sent/freaking drafted teenagers over to get their butts shot off for a political thrill for some, changed their minds and many of those who made it back, wounded in many ways, were abused again coming home...war heroes...treated like crap. Kids that couldn't afford college or Canada or were just patriotic Americans. Makes my blood boil, still today.

And yes, a big thank you and a salute to all who served and did or did not make it home.
