At least in the past 20 years. But I will conceded the point that Trump and his Trolls are as much America as we are -- just the dark underbelly that has been given permission to come out where we can see them.

and the Democrats just let it slide as they did in 2000. At least Gore made a little effort to formally protest; the Supremes quashed that. Only sixteen years into the new century, and the Dems let the popular vote go for the second (actually third) time and too it lying down. The Republicans would have fixed the problem in 2000 had the votes gone the other way. At least a few states have tried to remedy things.

but I'm grateful for every day they were in the White House

Had a lot of tough years between the 60s and 2008 working for Democratic causes but those two were a wonderful reward. My favorite president and first lady.
