There is enough evidence. The democrats and the news media should call for trumps resignation NOW!

Trump has broken his oath of office over and over again

He has put our national security at risk.

He has lied to the American people thousands of times.

He has committed obstruction of justice right out in the open.

There is a ton of circumstantial evidence he conspired with the Russians.

He has abused the constitution.

We can no longer afford to wait. The Democrats and the news media must call for his resignation and show all the evidence to the American people. If we keep on waiting and let this fucking madness continue, one day we may wake up and realize it's to fucking late.

What we are doing now is pure madness. The danger is real.

They can, but unless you can find 67 votes in the Senate, it won't matter. bearsfootball516 Nov 2018 #1

Are you expecting Trump to respond, "Okay, I guess you're right," and resign?

Just wondering what you mean be 'no longer afford to wait', when we don't seem to have much choice but to wait?

Until two Bushes, a Clinton, a Carter and an Obama publicly plead with him to resign for the good of the country.

Trump is seriously mentally ill. Rake a fucking forest? The democrats and the news media need to warn and show how much danger we are in. They need to put the pressure on now. They need to do it everyday. Non- stop.

It's like we are all just sitting around just waiting to be slaughtered. I've had enough of this freak show.

As the old saw goes, when you shoot at a king, you must kill him. We have a LOT of work yet to do, because removal from office is not just a legal matter, but a political matter. We have just begun the process of making Trump an unpalatable choice to a sufficient percentage of the population. Yes, large numbers of tuned-in voters are sick to their soul of this feckless incompetent polluting the Oval Office. But it's not enough. Far too many conscience-less, party-over-country Republicans will man the barricades to protect Trump, and as long as they're willing to blow the country to bits rather than take the hit of another Republican president resigning, there's still work to do.

We need to educate the public about Trump's sins and crimes, and recognize that we're going to have to harp on it repeatedly. Too often, liberals think that because they said something once that everyone should get it. We have to overcome that impulse, because large swaths of our society need to be told things again and again before they internalize it. Nobody at Fox ever feels like they said "liberal media" too much, or even enough. We have to be that relentless, too. When the public has been sufficiently inculcated with the facts of the Trump administration's corruption, and even such folks as Lindsay Graham and Marco Rubio are feeling the heat, then we can move ahead with impeachment and the formal process of getting Trump out of the White House. Until then, we're just squandering our chance by moving too soon.

'Out there', I'm surprised at the number of people who think trump is messy or something - but don't seem to 'get' the seriousness of trump, and the 'con collaborationists.

Agreed, 'the people should drive the call.'
