The governor’s race is over, but we still have a chance to make a difference and protect voting rights in Georgia:
My friend John Barrow is in the middle of a very tight runoff election for Secretary of State. He is running on a bold platform of protecting Georgians’ sacred right to vote.
After seeing such rampant voter suppression on Election Day, and witnessing how Brian Kemp used his office as Secretary of State to make it harder for some Georgians to vote, all of us should be working as hard as we can to help John win his runoff election on December 4th. We know what’s at stake.
Electing John Barrow as our next Secretary of State is how we ensure that in the next election, and the one after that, every eligible Georgian can cast their ballot without waiting in line for hours, or having to request an absentee ballot multiple times only to have it arrive late.
