After a certain age a lot of women go a tad overboard trying to "fill back up" the fullness in their faces nature naturally reduces with time.

The results of over use of fillers, coupled with Botox, gives the face an unnaturally puffy and rigid appearance. IMO anyway.

I have a friend I'm going to show some of these pictures to. She's already a getting heavy handed with the injectables and she's only 40.

I think some of is the false belief that we women are no longer desirable when we age. Which is a meme created by an industry designed to prey on these insecurities.

I guess that's what it boils down to, personal insecurities. If you base your value as a person on time leaving a mark on your body, you're destined to become insecure.

For me, I was insecure when I was young. Painfully so. I never thought I was smart enough, or educated enough, to compete. Now I'm a woman grown and confident in who, and what I've become.

The weirdness in her lower face may be due to her oversized tooth veneers -- a common screwup. When it comes to fake teeth-fronts, bigger is NOT better.
