Video: Sam Seder talks about protecting Social Security and Medicare from compromises.

The title of the video was "Corporatist Democrat, Paul Ryan Lover: Erskine Bowles"

I like to listen to the Majority Report at http://majority.fm.

There's a new one every day. Thanks Sam.

I listen to as much Morning Edition as I can stand, and switch to podcasts featuring two former Air America alumni; Rachel and Sammy.

Wasn't it awesome? I thought it was just the best because most radio was so right wing.

I just watched Left of the Dial, an HBO documentary about the beginnings of Air America. I knew they had financial problems, but I wasn't aware that they existed from the very beginning. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It was like attending a class reunion.

when I signed up as a member of the current iteration of the Majority Report.

I signed up with XM to be able to listen to them myself.

Air America had a great group of talent. I wish they were still around.

A lot of good things sure have come out of it too. Al Franken in the Senate for one. Rachel Maddow didn't do too shabby either!

Hey have you seen that Sarah Silverman show that lasted about 3 seasons on comedy central? Now that thing was funny. One of my favorite comedy shows ever. It was edgy.

What the fucking fuck?

Yeah, I just hit the part where Bowles is praising Ryan as some sort of genius.

Obama was ready to entrust the future of Social Security to a Republican and a Paul Ryan/Ryan budget fan.

around 7:30 into the video was pretty good.

About how he need to frame the election as a vote against Romney/Ryan = a vote against austerity.

My vote will be against Ryan/Romney, not for Obama.

Problem is that the popular media will deliberately ignore any progressive/populist meme. Job one is replacing the corporate media.

by piece of shit DLC moles. We will lose what we have been working for for years, and that is what is rightfully ours, our social security benefits.

no more

every day brings more disillusionment

then, I see shows like Rachel's tonight, and wonder how things can be as bad as they are

the other party NEVER ceases to amaze. just when you think they've reached impassible limits of mendacity, you hear things like Romney's retroactive non-residency in Massachusetts, just for starters
