Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Hits Back at Fox News

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has blasted critics after she was labeled a “bull in a china shop” on Fox News Thursday.

Journalist Charles Payne, normally seen on Fox Business Network, suggested freshman Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez “just want to create havoc” in Congress.

Payne was discussing with Washington Examiner’s Phil Wegmann how the newly-blue House of Representatives might put pressure on President Donald Trump. Twitter users recently lashed out at fellow Examiner reporter Eddie Scarry when he shared a photo of Ocasio-Cortez in a "creepy" tweet about her clothes.

Ocasio-Cortez responded to the Fox News broadcast on Twitter, criticizing “the same folks who bow to Trump.”

“The idea that [they] are clutching at their pearls is laughable,” she wrote. “That’s how they should feel.

“I’m fine being called a bull in a china shop, because politics that answers to special interests more than the American people *should* be disrupted.”
