5. Wow! So many of these are brutally true. And I notice that

none of them are critical of Democrats. Usually there are a few, but trump has been so awful lately, it just boggles the mind.

9. I usually omit the critical cartoons

I make no claim to collecting a general sampling of political cartoons. I use my judgement about what will appeal widely on DU.

That's going to exclude conservative cartoonists feeding their bubble, and the "both sides"-types that reach to balance RW wingnuttery with taffy-stretched examples from Democrats and leftists.

I also tend to shy away from "internal" toons whose subject is frustration with various elements within our coalition, including some ones I agree with. I don't consider those a "right fit" for the general TOON posts. If I feel strongly enough about them, I can post those separately.

The TOONs are for DU as a whole.
