Schiff: 'We are going to bring Whitaker before the Congress'

California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff said on Sunday he expected Democrats would bring in acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker for testimony about any actions he might be taking with regards to the Mueller investigation.

"We are going to bring Whitaker before the Congress, assuming he's still in his position at the time when Democrats take over," Schiff said on CNN's "State of the Union."

He continued, "We may bring him in whether he's in that position or not to find out the answers to these questions."

Whitaker is now in charge of an agency that is currently investigating a scam he was involved in. I can't figure out how he managed to pass any kind of background check.

He could have done that the day he was appointed. I think right now Trump is using him as a "mole" feeding him information from inside the Mueller camp. If Donnie Two Scoops convinces himself Mueller's getting a little to close, he'll tell Whitaker to pull the kill switch. Otherwise, he'll just keep repeating, "No collusion! No collusion!" like a stuck record.
