Does anyone else think there's word going 'round to Repubs about the Mueller investigation?

First Pappadopoulos wants to put off serving his 14 day sentence for lying to the FBI, until something else regarding his case is settled.

Then Cosi, Roger Stone's associate, announces he won't cut a plea deal with Mueller for lying to the FBI, saying he just forgot about an email to Stone.

Now Manafort is backing out of a plea deal.

The news is guessing that there's a pardon in the offing for Manafort.

But I'm wondering if the word has been put out that the Mueller Investigation might be going down, whether because of Whitaker or the "new" Supreme Court. If the death of the Mueller investigation doesn't help, then an appeal to the S.Ct. might clinch the deal. Or is it pardons? (I personally don't think pardons are likely, if they've already talked. Trump hates those he thinks have been disloyal to him.)

Something's going on, though.

to trump and others in the admin.

And Whitaker legitimacy is being challenger in court as we speak.

Also, Mueller is not dummy. He's already filed many sealed indictments and I'm sure he's got a fail safe, backup plan where cases are already slated to be moved to US Attorney districts in case anything goes down as far as his tenure as special counsel ends.
