I met her at a SS discussion by my Congressman Larson in Torrington CT a few weeks ago.

She was impressive in person in a lot of ways. mostly she was warm and engaging and friendly.

She's the sort of person that should be the rule rather than the exception in DC. She will be great, along with the others in her freshman class.

23. She's actually 45 years old, and has already lived a lifetime. Her biography is inspiring....

....being a teenage single mother, living in a dangerous neighborhood (" I know what it’s like to go to bed to gunshots outside,” she told an audience at a candidate forum. “I know what it’s like to wake up in the morning to a dead body in the hallway." ), working her way all they way up to being named the 2016 Teacher of the Year.

All done very humbly without hubris.
