An important demonstration in Mississippi yesterday...Woman wears Confederate flag ..

An African-American voter , Claudia Bivins, came to the polls wearing a Confederate flag around her shoulders and a red noose around her neck, then goes to the grave of a Civil Rights activist from the 1960's. It was a lesson for her 7 year old Grandson of how things were when she was his age.

Strange at first, but people who know Claudia Bivins understood her actions. This is courage in a state still embedded in racism since before the Civil War.
