Trump responded to Mueller in writing about Stone / Wikileaks and the Trump Tower meeting.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump told special counsel Robert Mueller in writing that Roger Stone did not tell him about WikiLeaks, nor was he told about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between his son, campaign officials and a Russian lawyer promising dirt on Hillary Clinton, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

One source described the President's answers without providing any direct quotes and said the President made clear he was answering to the best of his recollection.

This is the first insight into how the President responded to the Mueller team's written questions -- a key unknown as Mueller aims to wrap up his investigation and prepare his final report.

These two points -- WikiLeaks and the Trump Tower meeting -- are critical to Mueller's central mission: investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russians during the 2016 campaign.

We know that Mueller's delay with Manafort was to allow for receipt of Trump's written responses. Miles Archer Nov 2018 #2

Trump lied. In writing, black and white. To a federal prosecutor. Who has proof it is a lie. RockRaven Nov 2018 #3

Two things:

1. Rump lies about everything and has lied to Mueller

2. Mueller knows the answers before he asks the questions

BTW, both the trump tower meeting and direct association with wiki is NOT necessary for him to have conspired with Russia and commit treason. HE CLEARLY works for putin, HE CLEARLY takes orders from him and defers to him.

We know why. We know he owes him and maybe some pee tape or whatever but money is the main thing.

With one one thousandth of what WE know already, let alone what Mueller knows, ANY democrat was impeached a long long long time ago.

And whatever else we know, Mueller knows much, much more than that.

If Mueller revoked his plea dead, he's not getting it back now, so what value is there in anything he says, other than it possibly contradicting Trump? And because we know one of the main controversies has been Manafort "coordinating" with Trump's legal team, that puts even more weight behind simply not trusting him on any level.

Regarding Trump Tower, once Mueller is able to "unlock" that "locked" phone call, I think it's all over for boy wonder Don Jr, and if what Mueller learns from that is that the call was made to daddy, it's all over for everyone.

Trump's a serial liar. So the issue here isn't that he responded in writing. It's a matter of how successfully Mueller can debunk those responses via every other perp in this investigation.

Mueller has more detailed records than Trump can imagine.
