Hometown idiot on the GM layoffs

I live about 20 miles from the Lordstown, Ohio Cruze plant, so it's a big story here.

The following two minute clip played on today's local news. In it the reporters talk to the union president about if he would meet with the president to find a solution, but then they go to a diner just down the street from me to talk to it's owner. I have no other reason why besides the huge Trump signs he adorned his restaurant with in 2016.

Garry Frederick obviously doesn't understand subsidies and thinks we send a monthly welfare check and food stamps to GM. As he puts it "bring manufacturing jobs here, or you're done". He ends like a typical Trumpbot: "if you don't see the great things Trump does, shame on you".

People like this asshole is how Trump got elected. Frederick there was just too smart to be fooled by Crooked Hillary.

...from what I heard, but then he gave it to his kids and retained CEO status. I guess they still needed a fry cook (Chili & Egg Omelet)

While he had his diner all festooned with Trump banners in 2016 he went on TV to say "both sides" are welcome to eat there (even us libtards). He got a lot of flak on Facebook. I don't go there.

... and his business becomes collateral damage in Trump's ill-conceived trade war, he'll still somehow blame Obama.

Because as a Trump fan, logic can't be his strong suit.

They go back and act like they say the piece and say they want to hear more of that. Then, get that asshole down and on camera saying how great Trump is.

Then you lead with the bomb that those out of work worker wont have any money to eat in his restuarant (I guess he is in the food business?) and it's going to end up putting his family out of business..see what he says to that BS, and then air the last piece with what his new answers are.

I wanted to know what the tRump fans who work for GM think now. Your report verifies what I presumed would be their reaction to the news of layoffs.

a reporter makes you a complete dumbass.

Now, I love diners but I'm going to make a mental note never to talk to a reporter when I'm in one.
