Investigators have emails from late 2015 and early January 2016 in which Cohen communicated with or copied Don Jr. and Ivanka and discussed the Trump Tower Moscow project. Ivanka at one point recommended an architect. https://www.wsj.com/articles/michael-cohen-pleads-guilty-to-charge-in-mueller-investigation-1543502422

The government said Mr. Cohen lied in part to conceal discussions hed had with Trump family members about the project.
Investigators obtained emails about the project from late 2015 and January 2016, according to people familiar with the matter, in which Mr. Cohen communicated with or copied Mr. Trumps son, Donald Trump Jr., and his daughter, Ivanka Trump, both of whom were executives at Trump Organization. Ms. Trump recommended an architect, the people said. She left the company after the election to advise her father at the White House.
Mr. Cohen met with the House and Senate Intelligence Committees in October 2017, in sessions that focused largely on the Moscow real-estate project.
The Trump Organization began considering the proposed Moscow deal in September 2015, Mr. Cohen told Congress, less than three months after Mr. Trump began running for president. Mr. Cohen received Mr. Trumps signature on a nonbinding letter of intent for the project in October 2015, he told Congress.

(129,662 posts)Often that means the tweet was deleted but in this case, they haven't been but are apparently slow to load at this time. Usually if I refresh the thread, the tweet will appear but I always add the text as folks in the past have noted that they are often on browsers (or have add-ons) that block embedded tweets.

(51,642 posts)He basically said that he is a businessman and he is allowed to conduct his own businesses while complaining and that when he became president that all stopped (over and over). Then he said he was going to the G20 and would meet with Putin while there and that Cohen is a weak man.

(51,642 posts)or doing a story about something completely unrelated. They said that trump was told about Cohen last night and didn't think it was so bad. Apparently it didn't sink in until he was on his airplane and his staff wrote sane tweets on his account.

Not for the G20 dignitaries (notice I didn't include the word "other" as a modifier here; that's because Minus* is no dignitary).
And certainly not for the Argentinians.
For the late night TV hosts, other comedians, and the rest of us: it'll be a riot.
Hey, you either laugh about his ineptitude, crassness, or unpredictable stupidity; or you cry about it. I'm determined to laugh, until it's Mueller Time. At that point, there'll be dancing in the streets. The crying time will come when we -- as a nation -- have to clean up this toxic waste. But in the meantime...
