Trump arrived in Argentina for the G-20; he and his coterie are staying in the city's priciest hotel

Instead of staying at the palatial U.S. Ambassador's residence - as Obama did when he visited Buenos Aires in 2016.

I understand they comandeered the entire hotel.

Can you imagine the outrage at Faux News and hate radio if Obama had done this?

According to Trip Adviser, it's around $400 a night and the hotel has 165 rooms and suites.

The hotel was reserved solely for them. So if Cheeto flew with, say 150 hangers-on (White House officials, congresscritters, lobbyists, their mistresses, etc), for two nights, that comes out to $120,000.

Plus dinners, drinks, hookers, whatever.

Our tax dollars at play.

"But sir..."

"Do it, Goddammit. I don't want to have to hire hookers to pee on the bed!"

When the Saudi Crown Pricne found out that a local court was considering arresting him on charges of human rights atrocities (which under Argentine law are considered universal jurisdiction, and therefore punishable under local law even if it happened abroad), he holed up in the Saudi embassy and wouldn't come out.

The Saudis said he had been planning on seeing a Tango show. Local artists had said they'd refuse to perform if he showed up.
