He and his brother are politicians in districts that have a high Latino population. When they found out the Burkes worked with Trump, the Latinos turned on them and voted them out of office. (I think Chicago Tribune had that story ...)

He is still in office (and is the city's most powerful alderman) and is favored to win in the February election.
