I'm sure the Bush family is going to tell the orange asshole to stay as far away as possible.

The optics of this are just crazy. The incumbent president being so toxic that he's not invited to the funeral of one of his predecessors.

whether the Bush family will observe conventional protocol and let him attend, since GHWB was an ex-president. But even if they do, betcha he won't be asked to speak.

services for HW as a former President. Barbara as a former First Lady and McCain as a Senator were different. I wouldn't blame them if they did, but this is different. It could go either way IMO - I guess we will see.

he probably won't be asked to speak. I was never a fan of GHWB but he doesn't deserve the insult of Orangehole McLittledick speaking at his funeral.

I can't imagine them giving him a mic. President Obama on the other hand, is a national treasure as a speaker and empathetic human and met with HW recently. I am guessing he will be invited to speak.

His sons George, Jeb, Bil Clinton and Barack Obama. I do not see the sitting President being invited to speak.

However, we're talking about a 72-year-old man-infant who seems to be absolutely incapable of not making every event he attends about himself. Everyone planning the funeral right now has to be dreading the prospect of this dipshit attending and turning it into a train crash.
