Like I predicted, The Deluded (Trump voters) would one day come face to face with reality.

The Deluded now have two choices.

1. Admit how fucking stupid they were and are and seek redemption.

2. Deny the truth and live the rest of their lives as foolish, stupid , lying assholes.

I have been civil to the Trump voters I know. I kept my anger under control. I have been like a rattlesnake in waiting. When Trump goes down I am going to strike (raise hell) the Trump voters I know. They deserve it. I will probably lose some friends, family members, and I don't give a dam. The Deluded put us, our entire country in great danger. We are still in great danger.

Voting for Trump was the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my lifetime.

The ones I know have been mostly silent, except during the Justice Boof fiasco, and tend to avoid the subject of Hair Furor. One went so far as to say he doesn't know of anyone who admits to voting for him.

They seem to wake up (from slumber) each day with a restart button.

Many people were disillusioned by the whole system and DFT was a fresh alternative. I get that. What I think is truly stupid and delusional is the continued worship of that orange Maggot. They now know what a truly corrupt and morally bankrupt person they voted for, and they still insist that he is a genius. The worst of the lot are the "Christians" who still profess his greatness "because abortions".

Voting for Trump is a symptom of a problem.

The cause of the problem is the RW propaganda machine. Fox News. AM Hate Radio. RW bloggers.

All of these are creations of the billionaire wing nuts, the Koch brothers, the Mercers, etc.

They have been fomenting hatred of Democrats and liberals for decades.

The Democratic party desperately needs to address this, for starters buying ads on AM radio calling out the bullshit being broadcast.

And by their own admissions show they know how badly the miscalculated, I'd give "Gee, if only someone had told you ahead of time" a real workout. Followed by "Next time maybe listen to people who disagree with you? Just a little bit?"

Maybe some will admit their mistake but a lot of the reason Trump has kept his base is because they are absolutely convinced the Dems are lesser people unworthy of being in a position to make decisions over them. Trump epitomizes everything the base Republicans have brought up as major faults in past Democratic candidates; womanizer, liar, cheater, draft dodger, pot smoker, elitist, non-Christian, unpatriotic...you get the picture. Those outside their tribe are children of a lesser god. They will never admit they were wrong because that would mean all "those people" who they despise may actually be decent human beings.

Trumpism has turned into a cult among Donnie's ordinary base supporters. Not talking about the alt-right, Neo Nazi, white nationalists who are in the business of hating for a living but the down-home Fox addicted viewers who even now--as the facts emerge--claim Democratic/Mueller conspiracy.

Which is why you get comments: Well, I hope you Dems are satisfied!

Trump's die-hard supporters are still convinced that the Democratic Party engineered this debacle, that Hillary Clinton is the one who colluded with the Russians. So she could lose the election.

I'll never forget the sobbing woman at one of Trump's rallies. She was sobbing over Trump, how he was trying so-o-o hard to do a good job but everyone in the press was against him.

Sobbing for Trump.

While kids are thrown in cages and detention camps, the environment is being trashed and Serial Liar continues to lie.

This is brainwashing 101: don't trust your lying eyes; what you see and hear isn't the way things are; just listen to me. This is Trump's continuing message, amplified by Fox and right-wing radio.

So yeah, we need deprogramming to shake these people back to reality.

If that's possible because once you're in a cult, it's really hard to break the connection. Think about the folks involved in Scientology. It's scary shit, the things people can be seduced to believe in and act on.

The good news? We outnumber the True Believers.
