He obviously did better with his acting, but occasionally, on talk shows like Johnny Carson, he'd blow the audience away with a dance routine.

He could do serious, Mayberry RFD, or buffoonish, F-Troop. His role in Mamas Family was quite funny. He will be missed. 😰

Born in Moline, Ill., Berry started out as a singer and dancer. He served in the U.S. Army special services under Sergeant Leonard Nimoy, entertaining the troops and winning a slot on the "Ed Sullivan Show."

Which I am sure they will have in his honor soon. He was always one of my favorites when I was growing up.
