Kid Rock not backing down on Joy Behar controversy: 'Mess with the bull, get the horns'

As Nashville officials booted Kid Rock from the city’s Christmas Parade following his profane swipe at Joy Behar, Rock elaborated Friday night on his jab at the TV host and comic.

The musician cited comments Behar made last year on “The View," where she criticized an irreverent photo of Rock, Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin snapped in front of Hillary Clinton’s White House portrait.

The comedian's criticism clearly didn't sit well with Rock. Discussing the American political climate during a Friday morning "Fox & Friends" appearance, he said: "I would say, 'Love everybody' ... except I'd say, 'Screw that Joy Behar (expletive).' "

The live segment had Fox hosts quickly scrambling to apologize to viewers.

On Facebook Friday night, Rock wrote that while he apologized for cursing on live television, he wasn't sorry for the anti-Behar sentiment.

“Mess with the bull, you get the horns,” Rock wrote. “End of story.”
