good discussion on NPR 1A today - re GHWB - eulogies vs obituaries

A few of the guests had a good take on this - eulogies are what family and friends share to highlight favorite reminiscences about those who have died. Obituaries are more like news items.

Since the death of GHWB, I've invoked the Thumper philosophy and not really commented - and I will continue.

But for the most part, I've read lots of what DUers have posted.

My general thought is that we are not family members and friends - so his history, his legacy, is all fair game.
