Even at this sad time, with *tRump squatting at the end of the pew, looking like a Lovecraft

monster, there is occasion to be glad. Behold, three deserving recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize, all Democrats, two former Presidents, one former Vice-President, gracing the occasion. Savor the moment, for we have never seen anything like it before and probably never will again.

I remember when I was a kid, Nixon was only living POTUS or Former POTUS.

Though he might yet, who knows? Carter, Obama, and Gore were the three to whom I was referring.

I can't help but wonder what will be said about DT at his funeral. In all seriousness, does he have any laudable qualities at all?

"My father always wanted to be the corpse at every funeral, the bride at every wedding, and the baby at every christening." At least Teddy was lovable. *tRump is beneath contempt.

"If you haven't got anything nice to say about anybody, come sit next to me." That will aptly describe the Trump funeral.

Didn't put his hand on his heart when the flag draped casket came down the aisle. Even Melanie managed that. Can you imagine the reaction on the right if one of the Democratic presidents did that?

What a boor.

Tsathoggua

“He was very squat and pot-bellied, his head was more like a monstrous toad than a deity, and his whole body was covered with an imitation of short fur, giving somehow a vague sensation of both the bat and the sloth. His sleepy lids were half-lowered over his globular eyes; the tip of a queer tongue issued from his fat mouth."

~ Clark Ashton Smith , "The Tale of Satampra Zeiros"
