3. Bacon may have been put on the "bad for you" list but I don't think people stopped eating it.

and it's not sprayed with glyphosate before harvest like oatmeal. So, bacon and eggs are probably a much healthier breakfast than the all carb pesticided oatmeal.

I always eat bacon with no additives or preservatives with eggs from my own chickens.

The question of eggs being good or bad for you carries over to cholesterol readings. Bad and then.... maybe not so bad. Can't make it up.

A University of South Florida professor and an international team of experts have found that older people with high levels of a certain type of cholesterol, known as low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), live as long, and often longer, than their peers with low levels of this same cholesterol.

Lots of fruit, organic fermented milk products, vegetables, legumes, whole grain. Little red meat and a good bit of that low fat venison. Very little processed sugar as I do not like dessert. You get the idea.

So why am I 40lbs over weight?

I eat way too much healthy food!

At then end of the day, calories are calories.
