https://lawandcrime.com/trump/after-trump-said-he-answered-muellers-questions-very-easily-giuliani-says-it-was-a-nightmare/
Last month, after President Donald Trump prepared his written responses to questions from Special Counsel Robert Muellers office, he told reporters that he answered them very easily. His lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, now tells a very different story.
Answering those questions was a nightmare, Giuliani said in an interview for The Atlantic. It took him about three weeks to do what would normally take two days. ....
Current and former officials, including Giuliani, told The Atlantic that there is no plan in place for how to deal with Muellers report. Giuliani said that the difficulty they had with answering Muellers questions made it tough to spend time on a report to counter whatever the Special Counsels Office put out. One former official said its tough to create a strategy that Trump himself could very well ignore. ....
I dont think following his lead is the right thing. Hes the client, he said. The more controlled a person is, the more intelligent they are, the more they can make the decision. But hes just like every other client. Hes not more you know, controlled than any other client. In fact, hes a little less.
Efforts to control the situation, of course, may prove futile.
I dont think theres anyone in the world that can stop Donald Trump from tweeting, Giuliani said. Ive tried.

It does not take that long to tell the truth.

(31,112 posts)it is all lies and it takes time to research the lies you already told to see how they line up with the lies you are now going to tell.
Now as insane as all this is, what is worse is the media still wont call him a traitor or liar and he has fifty million die hard fans.

(24,259 posts)A) It takes longer to make up a good lie than to just tell the truth.
B) Rudy just called Trump an idiot in this comment, "The more controlled a person is, the more intelligent they are, the more they can make the decision. But hes just like every other client. Hes not more
you know, controlled than any other client. In fact, hes a little less.

I cant imagine having to be the attorney for someone that dishonest.
How does an attorney protect himself from his clients lies?

(6,854 posts)As much as I want him to be brought down, I hope it's not as a result of legal malpractice. Either keep your mouth shut or withdraw from the case (blaming your own schedule, rather than the client).

(63,221 posts)I think he's beginning to realize that everyone hates him and thinks he is a disaster as president. Even those he previously thought were his allies. I really hope this all drives him to a breakdown because I think that is the only way we will get him out of office.

Everyone loves him and he is the best president - even better than all the ones preceding him and definitely far superior to all the ones following.
Oh, and the mirror says he is 6'8" and 180lbs.

(2,690 posts)And I can't forget that Trump, that callowest of men, also rushed to forgive Vladimir Putin for the murder of Sergei Magnitsky, even before
Putin helped him to "win" the so-called election. Trump values one human life, and one human life only -- his own. Ironically, the two murders -- of Magnitsky and Khashoggi - he so cavalierly diminished were of men vastly more significant and accomplished than Trump or his offspring, shallow husks of soulless humanity that they are, ever were or can be.

(32,639 posts)Rudy G is not incriminating Cheeto or suggesting any kind of culpability. All he's saying is that Cheeto is an unruly client, which we already knew anyway. If Rudy were to come out and admit that Cheeto lied or committed perjury, or he planned the coverup, THAT would be "throwing him under the bus."
