And I had to work even harder this year when a key member of my team quit way back in January, and the amount of work tripled in three months.
So, I didn't get any tricking this year.

Four other people in my department also quit this year as well.

(56,582 posts)You can say "raise wages" all you want, and I'm a fan of that, but it doesn't solve the fundamental problem that there are more jobs needing to be done than people wanting to do jobs.

(21,568 posts)i will be getting a bonus (my company does them in march) but all the metric for company performance that goes into them are below targets so it will be less than last years. and my company (large one) already did early retirement which some people took, one guy transferred, another guy left, another guy went to a different building to basically replace a guy who left, so my group is down several people and i have lots more responsibilities too.
not a complaint, i LOVE my job, but like you i won't be seeing any trickle down either.
