Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWhat is ON Mitt's "Things We Can Talk About" List?
The OFF list, to my knowledge, includes:
Foreign policy (only to be discussed in "quiet rooms" ;
His tax returns, except the incomplete 2010 one;
The names of his bundlers;
Specific details of his budget plan (is there a budget plan yet?);
Specific details of his plans regarding Medicare;
Accurate information about his years at Bain, including which years they were;
Records of his governorship in MA, which were "disappeared" by the purchase and wiping of hard drives, as well as by his use of his personal email to conduct government business;
Some records of his work for the Salt Lake City Olympics, shredded, I believe;
Names of those attending his private fundraisers;
His family, even if they're politicking;
His religion;
His youthful and not-so-youthful "pranks," at least one of which he, unlike all the other participants, does not recall.
Please correct errors, add other items if you know of any, and then help me figure out what Mitt IS willing to present to the American people that will convince us that he deserves the presidency.

(13,776 posts)It's a question I would LOVE to hear a reporter ask him. How could he possibly answer it in a way that wouldn't turn off any thinking voter?

(611 posts)Broad generalizations, especially when they conveniently help distract from or misrepresent facts he doesn't consider our business, seem to be okay. Maybe the way to talk to him would be to toss lies back and forth, making them bigger and bolder until they were utterly surreal and obviously disconnected from the truth. I don't think that would be a particularly constructive conversation, though.
What would Rufus T. Firefly do?
