Doesn't Feel Like Ryan Is Already Falling Apart?

Ryan reminds me of Rick Perry. He swept in, made the republicans excited, had a fancy talking point (fastest job growth in the nation!), but after a few days, he started sounding like a complete dumb ass and then melted under the spotlights.

Look at the last few days

It is very refreshing to read such a straight forward analysis. I am truly ill of those who claim republican politicians just do not understand the people and that is why they all act like idiots. It is only with open , honest communication like yours that progressives advance justice and fairness. Every time I hear one of our so called brethren unwilling to call them on their real motivation , saying or doing whatever is necessary to support the power of some of the wealthiest, I cringe. If we do not cal out our enemies, they become more and more emboldened to hide between political spin and false claims of divine right over us.
We are part of the 99 percent and must never forget this or we risk this election. We must take every opportunity to remind everyone republican politicians are not on the side of the people and whose side the republican politicians are really on. Peope seem to be angry about the policies being pursued by lying republican politicians, we need to tie things together by tying these policies to direct and unashamed support for an ultra wealthy ruling group.

That goes to show how stupid everyone who thought this would offend black people thinks black people are.

What Biden said was no where near being a gaffe and all the whining, crying and moaning in the world will never make it so.

What Ryan actually does is called catfish noodling. Whatcha do to noodle a catfish is to go out in a murky river, find a cave you think a good-sized catfish might be nesting in, and stick your hand into the cave.

If all goes well, the catfish bites your hand. You grab the fish by the jawbone and drag it out of its cave. Your buddies then help you get it onto the bank.

There are a few problems with doing this.

Problem 1: this tends to piss off the fish.
Problem 2: channel catfish can grow to approximately the size of Paul Ryan, and they're stronger.
Problem 3: the bottom of the river is fairly slick, which leads to...
Problem 4: large, pissed off channel catfish can drag you below the surface and make you drownded. Or they can stick one of their venomous spines in your leg and do you in that way.
And then there's...
Problem 5: Rivers with catfish large enough to noodle ALSO contain snapping turtles, who tend to live in the same kinds of places large cats do.

And then there's the issue of why a man who doesn't eat the flesh of animals is out there draggin' catfish out of the water with his bare hands...

My wife is foreign born and listens to these politicians on the television and is constantly confused by what she sees and hears. After many nights over the years of explaining that the lies, insincerity and mean spirited campaigns are a major part of the American electoral process, she still doesn't understand why the people bother voting. I simply said that it isn't about which candidate has the best message or the most money to spend, it comes down to "Which candidate lies the best and in the end is more believable".

The idiotic brain-dead Republican base will vote for anyone as long as they blame everything on Obama and the so-called independent voters will go whichever way the wind blows. The Cock brothers are buying this election at the expense of everyone else and the electorate is too lazy to actually educate themselves.

In the age of Facebook, text messaging and Twitter, anything that is said is instantly repeated ad infinitum and within 24 hours becomes the "truth." The media has failed in their role because the vast majority of people in this country have the attention span of a 7 year old and "journalists" are too interested in being personalities and too afraid to actually ask any substantive questions, least they loose their fat paychecks. The complete dumbing-down of America has arrived. Get used to it.
