supposed to be notified. Of course nobody in Trumpland follows procedure, so maybe Whitaker or Barr would fail in that notification duty.

But if it were a big enough deal, I think Mueller or his team would finally break their well-disciplined silence -- either formally to Congress or informally to the press. But that puts the legitimacy of the OSC at risk, so they probably would only do that if the unreported interference in question was both significant and obviously illegitimate. The OCS needs to remain above reproach in order to get through the entire investigation properly.
