John Kelly refuses to apologize for false attacks on Rep. Frederica Wilson

White House chief of staff John Kelly said Monday he would not apologize for the false attacks he leveled against Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., earlier this month when he sought to defend President Donald Trump for his handling of a condolence call to the widow of a fallen soldier.

On Oct. 19, in a rare appearance at the White House press briefing, Kelly attacked Wilson as an "empty barrel" and accused her of grandstanding at a public event two years ago in Florida by taking credit for securing federal funding for a new building.

Video of the event soon released by the Florida Sun Sentinel showed Wilson did no such thing. Rather, she used her speech to praise the two slain FBI agents in whose memory the building was named. Wilson accused Kelly of "character assassination," and members of the Congressional Black Caucus demanded that Kelly apologize.

The Dem's should haul Kelly's sorry ass in front of Congress and play his comments on Frederica Wilson in front of the country.
Then they should play the whole dedication ceremony of the FBI building that Kelly said she took credit for, and that the video tapes show not to be true.
Then they should offer Kelly the opportunity to apologize publicly to Representative Wilson.
And then wait,
And then wait,
and then tell Mr. Kelly they will continue to wait as long as he wants.

The country needs to confront the truth about the Trump Administration. Much like in post Nazi Germany, some of the American people (likely 35 to 40%) who avidly support Trump, need to have the horrors of this administration held up in the full light of day to them.
Also include, administration members who lie, like the Liar in Chief, that means you too, Sarah Honeyboo boo Sanders, and all the other cretins we've had to tolerate the past 2 years. Confront them with factual material and let them squirm. Easy to tell lies when you are not held to account. Different when you can't hide.

And they can't turn their heads in shame. Don't let them.

I still wonder how some of my relatives, former university classmates, and casual friends where I lived in Wisconsin ever voted for the vulgarian, and everything he represents. And they need to be confronted with their bad choices.
