SDNY is saying Cohen acted at the direction of trump. (Direct implication of trump)
Mueller's team seems to suggest that Cohen acted to please and/or protect trump.

Those distinctions make a difference when it comes to sentencing and the final outcome.

They have other sources to back it up with in court to prove trump gave them to him. trumps guilty and they have the proof.
