Executive orders can be undone immediately by the next president. Legislative evils can also be undone if we get the White House and both houses of Congress. If politically feasible, the Supreme Court can be expanded so that the next president gets to appoint a bunch of new justices.

The damage done by his actions, though -- a lot of that will never be undone.

Unless a few Repub senators suddenly develop consciences or something (*scoff*), I suspect they're going to have to keep the focus on packing the courts with right wing assholes from top to bottom...and suppressing votes/otherwise subverting democracy and breaking the law, because it's the only way they'll retain power.

Or a bunch of them could end up being found out for all manner of campaign finance crimes, amongst other things, coming out of the ongoing investigation, but I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't count on it all coming to much of anything at all, to be honest. I'll be happy as hell if it does, but I think too many currently in power are complicit, and they collectively won't do anything to hold fuckface (or Putin) accountable, it'll all be basically swept under the rug and normalized one way or another, we'll all "move on for the good of the country" or whatever, and if anyone is still around to shake their heads in astonishment about it all in a couple hundred years (which I'd be surprised by, the rate we're going) they will marvel at the complacency and cowardice that the people of our time showed.

If the hammer actually falls on this presidency, could some of these judges get removed?

It’s a great idea, however, I’m not sure how it could actually be accomplished.

If a strong majority of America was convinced no only that Donnie committed crimes in the process of getting elected, but further, that those crimes were *essential* to winning the election, I.e., he actually *stole* it, then, maybe, people would support doing things like impeaching and removing all his court appointments and such once a Democrat is president.

By none of what mueller is doing will prove the election was stolen. We don't know how many votes were changed.

Nixon's actions weren't reversed, though he won in a landslide. No one really thought McGovern would have won had the watergate crimes not happened.

2016 was much closer....
