The big tax fraud story in the NYT is rock solid. The family stole hundreds of millions in taxes thru tax fraud. Some say Fred is the main culprit but his heirs can be forced to pay back what he owed from their inheritance. The statute of imitations for fraud only starts when the fraud is discovered, the date of the NYT article. Jail is too late but back tax plus interest can be recovered. We’re talking several hundred million dollars.
