Will trump need a public defender? We need to consider some odd possibilities for the near future.
Will he be able to make bail and just what kind of escape risk is he?
It’s clear that sooner, or not much later, trump will find himself in numerous criminal courts attempting to get away with what he has done in the name of Russia. That and his other numerous alleged tax crimes, payoffs by Saudi Arabia, and election fraud. If he thinks he is going off into some happy, honorable retirement he is also nuts.
Once Russia and Saudi Arabia realize the game is over and their puppet in the White House is now a liability they will cut him off. Trump will be left with his flapping mouth and not much else. The suggestions that he is broke may well be true. He has said he has no investments in Russia, he may, for once be telling the truth. It’s Russia, and the Saudi’s, that have invested in him. They expect political return on their investments.
Once he is no longer of use to the “investors” he will be eating at a soup kitchen. So, will he make bail? And just what kind of escape risk is he? Would Russia give him sanctuary? They might, to keep certain facts from being exposed. After all, what they have done, could reasonably be argued, is an act of war, and what trump has done may be tantamount to treason.
So once he is impeached somebody needs to take his passport away and get an ankle monitoring bracelet on him. Can’t have wandering off, like he does on stages lately.
