In a word, clueless. They think a shutdown is a winning strategy....just like Tariffs. When I went to high-school many moons ago, Economics was a semester requirement...second was optional. I took the second and eventually majored in it College. Going to guess most of them went to high school where it was all optional. Probably elected to do Home Ec instead.
