There is a very simple reason that Trump is so frustrated at today's meeting.

He thought that Minority Leader Pelosi and Minority Leader Schumer were going to be like the sniffling dim-witted cowards: Ryan and McConnell.

By the way I felt that Speaker to be Pelosi perfectly implemented First Lady Obama's dictum 'when they go low we go high'.

When Trump patronizingly called ML Pelosi, "Nancy", she continued to honor the office of the President by referring to the Idiot in Chief as "Mr. President".

The juxtaposition of Trump and Speaker Pelosi and ML Schumer is going to be very jarring.

By the way, Trump just assured ML Pelosi of a unanimous vote from the Democratic caucus for the Speaker.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, outgoing Chief of Staff John Kelly, immigration adviser Stephen Miller, and Shahira Knight, his legislative director.

Guess he needed to outnumber them to feel safe.

by a woman! Don't these females know their place? Who is Nancy Pelosi to argue with the man with the biggest brain in the world? And he knows all the best words, too!

Getting pushed around and made to look like an idiot by a mere woman got to him more than anything, I believe. Ms. Pelosi did her job masterfully, and made Trump look like the juvenile delinquent he is. She emasculated him, and for a person (I refuse to use the word "man" ) whose entire world revolves around his false sense of masculinity and greatness, it was more than he could take. His little tantrum after the meeting was over certainly bears this out.

he doesn't want to build the wall, he wants the fight over building the wall. Right now he is sitting on 3.6 billion dollars with no plans on building.

The problem that Trump doesn't see, according to Don Lemon, is that Trump can no longer control the narrative. When he does his lying to the M$M all Nancy Pelosi has to do is call her press conference and the M$M will come running. Trump is in for a big surprise come January.

By the way, I hope everyone saw today why Republicans have been demonizing Nancy Pelosi, she is damn good, they fear her.

....from beginning to end. It was a wonder to behold.

The two of them (Pelosi and Schumer) were perfect together, and watching Schumer almost "chuck"ling (yeah, that was intended!!) while watching trump go on about being proud to shut down the government.

Nancy and Chuck complemented each other, they were:

1) Pelosi has a fierce concentration on staying on message on the important issues that effect real people. She wants to keep the government open without agreeing to stupidity.

2) Schumer had great stage presence and his chuckling in public really got under Trump's skin.

3) The political career of Pence ended today. It was like Quayle's misspelling of Potato. In the midst of these 3 active people he just checked out, like he was taken from the audience of a popular sitcom and was just watching the others perform.

when he's against real Congressional leaders. He's out of his league.

As for going high, yes, she hit the right tone and executed perfectly. Schumer kept quiet, for the most part, and let Nancy do her thing.

But she made up for the "going high" afterwards, when she said what was on her mind, still in a humorous and not vulgar way. But it painted a somewhat "low" picture of Trump trying to pee all over the place like a dog, and of him not having any "manhood." I'm okay with that, because of who it was directed at and the low bar that Trump has set for us all. And the things he has said about her and other representatives and Senators, particularly the women.
