WASHINGTON (Circa) -- Police have evacuated Facebook and Instagram's headquarters after they received reports of a bomb threat towards the building.

The Menlo Park Police Department received a tip from New York City Police Department, who received an anonymous call. No details were provided about what the threat consisted of, according to KGO. An alert was then issued around 5:22 p.m. pacific time.

In a tweet, the police department said "Police activity in the 200 block of Jefferson Drive/Constitution Drive in Menlo Park due to a bomb threat." Subsequently, they also said "The building has been evacuated and the bomb unit is on scene."

Video from the scene shows a fire alarm ringing inside a building with Instagram's logo front and center. Police are urging residents in the area to stay away.
