2021: When Social Security Changes Forever

An interesting topic and one I'm sure a lot of people are unaware of. Youtube so he tries to get you to buy his book and subscribe at the end so just skip that part if you're not interested.

It is certainly true that if you file before your full retirement age, you get a lower monthly benefit, and that reduction gets bigger the earlier you file (down to age 62 which is the earliest you can file). Likewise, the longer one delays filing after the full retirement age, the larger the monthly benefit (up to age 70).

Also is true that the full retirement age is increasing until it eventually reaches 67, from 66 years and 2 months now.

Both this info from mutiple reliable sources including socialsecurity.gov.

But maybe I'm a "tad gullible" for believing any of this.

Edited to correct 66 years -> 66 years and 2 months.
