BREAKING: Trump was in the room during hush money discussions, NBC News confirms

NBC News

Donald Trump was the third person in the room in August 2015 when his lawyer Michael Cohen and National Enquirer publisher David Pecker discussed ways Pecker could help counter negative stories about Trump's relationships with women, NBC News has confirmed.

As part of a non-prosecution agreement disclosed Wednesday by federal prosecutors, American Media Inc., the Enquirer's parent company, admitted that "Pecker offered to help deal with negative stories about that presidential candidate's relationships with women by, among other things, assisting the campaign in identifying such stories so they could be purchased and their publication avoided."

The "Statement of Admitted Facts" says that AMI admitted making a $150,000 payment "in concert with the campaign," and says that Pecker, Cohen, and "at least one other member of the campaign" were in the meeting. According to a person familiar with the matter, the "other member" was Trump.

But I imagine most republican politicians and voters will just say "We knew that he wasn't a perfect person, I don't care" and dismiss it.

We're trying to win the marginal voters who voted for him because they were fed up with what they saw as status quo candidates and just wanted to blow things up for once.

The real acid test will be 2020, however. GWB was a disastrous (P)resident but he got (re-)elected in 2004. I can't imagine a scenario where Trump wins a second term but after 2016, I ain't taking *anything* for granted and I hope that we Democrats pull it together and stand firmly behind our nominee.

What was the campaign advertising value for the above and how much did the Trump campaign pay for it ? (I expect $0).

As well, what other stuff did Trump get hidden on Pecker's vault and how much did it cost him?

Trump doesn't seem to have any real friends. I suspect this "relationship" with Pecker was kind of like his relationship with Putin: Kompromat.

candidate they ever endorsed. The whole election (including state senators and congressmen from 2016...since people vote down ballot) should be considered null and void. All the policies, exec orders, SCOTUS justices, etc should be erased.
