We'll need control of both houses of Congress and a Democrat in the White House before that will be possible. We need to be working toward that goal as hard as we possibly can. There's so much to be done before the 2020 election. It can be done, but we need to stay undistracted in the meantime.

So, by all means raise the issue and promote it. But it will be essential to meet that goal of Democratic control before it can actually happen, so that should be our first priority for the next two years.

as we think, the vast majority of marbles will roll to Medicare quickly.

Right now, 40% or more are opposed or concerned about mandated Medicare. When that’s down to 20% or so, Medicare-for-All is easy to mandate.

To really save substantial money, the whole healthcare system has to be reformed, including those who profit from healthcare and our/patients’ expectations of the system.

If Medicare for All has a 20% deductible and those satisfied with their insurance aren’t paying that, then why bankrupt them. Get the ball rolling and see how that all goes. Half the people have insurance through their employer and are happy with it. Thank Goodness for the ACA for protecting vulnerable groups caught in between like the pre-existing conditions, etc.
