So, I wonder what the GOP will say after Trump is gone?

Given the fact that they can't stand up to him now? They are afraid of him and whoever is behind Trump, ie Putin and the Russians?

They'll try to pretend they never heard of him and that it never happened. Ford tried to make it all go away by pardoning Nixon and announcing that "our long national nightmare is over," but it wasn't over and Ford got his ass handed to him in the '76 election.
