I said in another thread that I thought he would cut a deal to save his kids. I think it's more likely that he will just pardon them. If the family never accepts responsibility, they can always claim they are victims. At this point, 38% of the public will believe them.

The state crimes will prove to be a challenge. At some point the kids will have to flee the country. They'll call themselves exiles. And in interviews years from now, they speak wistfully of the day they can return to claim all that is theirs.

His strategy going forward will be to blame everything on "Chuck and Nancy." Turtle's name will never be mentioned.
