Deep dive article on Flynn associate Bijan Kian who was indicted yesterday - these two go WAY back

From March of this year:

The next year, when Flynn was forced out by the Obama administration, his friendship with Kian blossomed into a business partnership. Kian brought him into the chip company, GreenZone Systems Inc., as a board member. According to Flynn’s financial disclosure, GreenZone and its parent company paid him more than $150,000 in cash, plus an undisclosed amount of stock in 2015.

Kian also helped fund and found Flynn Intelligence Group, the ex-general’s consulting firm, and served as a senior partner. While it’s been known that Flynn was advocating in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel in 2015 for a consortium seeking to build several dozen nuclear power reactors, it’s not been reported that he and Kian were also trying to sell GreenZone’s secure chips as part of the deal. Flynn lied about the trip in his federal disclosures.

Kian also brought Flynn Intel its most problematic deal: a previously reported $530,000 contract with Dutch company Inovo BV, ostensibly to improve the business climate in Turkey. Flynn later admitted that the contract primarily benefited Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and that his firm had been paid to lobby U.S. officials to extradite an Erdogan enemy living in Pennsylvania.

After Trump’s election victory, Flynn and Kian, both of whom served on the transition team’s intelligence committee, worked on highly sensitive matters without disclosing that they had been paid to represent Turkey’s government. Flynn also stopped a U.S. military plan to attack Islamic State in an offensive that would have armed the Kurds, Erdogan’s avowed enemy, according to a Flynn confidant who said the decision was aimed at assessing previous policy.

It seems astounding that Flynn could have made such a dramatic 180 in his character in just a few short years. He was a 3-star general. He was the director of the DIA. And in a few short years he's involved with a possible kidnapping of a Turkish citizen residing in the US (Fethullah Gulen), he's working with Russian intelligence officers to get Trump elected, and he's involved in any number of other shady operations through his so-called consultancy, and he's parroting his son's conspiracy theorist nonsense.

I'm sure (or at least hoping) that Mueller looked into this in minute detail as Flynn became a cooperating witness. But I really would like to know for sure that there was a deep dive into Flynn's career. Granted, intelligence service directors have vast connections worldwide, with other intelligence agencies, private contractors, etc. But once they enter the private sector, they're usually on the side of what we would call the good guys, not mucking about with kidnapping plans, conspiracy theories, and Russians.

BTW, the same question applies to Giuliani. He was a US Attorney. He put mobsters in jail. I think he and Mueller were at the SDNY together at some point (not sure, though, but you get the idea). Yes, he became supremely weird after 9/11, but the level of weirdness he's at now is something close to peak weird. Lies aren't lies. There is no truth. WTF? Again, there has to be a reason that someone behaves so dramatically different from the persona he operated under for decades. At least Trump was a known quantity to anyone with half a brain and who was paying attention. He was a con man, and from there he became so much more. The fact that some 60 million Americans believed he was the second coming says more about them than about trump. But Giuliani? Flynn? There has to be so much more.

close family friends wanted the money. My hunch is,there is more to this than we already know. How deep does this go into the Military Community. Who in the Retirement Ranks is also playing in this game.

This is not the end.

WAIT. - WRONG. - WOOLSEY PITCHED a deal..I’m really confused now (imagine that)

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-woolsey-exclusive/exclusive-while-advising-trump-in-2016-ex-cia-chief-proposed-plan-to-discredit-turkish-cleric-idUSKBN1CV2RF

And wait, here’s Woolsey and Louis Freeh on the board of that Saipan casino that was busted by FBI in early 2017 and again in 2018:

Its board members include James Woolsey, who ran the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency in the early 1990s and was among national-security advisers to Trump’s presidential campaign. Former FBI director Louis Freeh and Ed Rendell, a former Pennsylvania governor and Democratic National Committee chairman, sit on an advisory committee, as does Haley Barbour, the ex-Mississippi governor and Republican National Committee chairman who’s now a prominent lobbyist.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-30/fbi-agents-visit-office-of-saipan-casino-run-by-trump-protege

And look, here’s Freeh’s son also mentioned in Bloomberg article:

At that gathering, several weeks later at Flynn Intel’s offices in Alexandria, Virginia, Kian was accompanied by Justin Freeh, a GreenZone board member and son of former FBI Director Louis Freeh.

SMALL WORLD

WTF

I’m pretty sure Woolsey has spoken to Mr. Mueller

But look at him and Freeh on that dirty, HUGE money-laundering casino board together

Also, a few ex FBI agents worked for dumbfuck’s campaign as security...weird

.........

Yes, we’re not even CLOSE to “the end”, Wellstone!!!
