On Tuesday, the New York Attorney Generals office announced that it had secured an agreement to disband President Donald Trumps personal charity as part of a lawsuit into the organizations many alleged misdeeds.
Fox News host Shep Smith dedicated two segments to the charity scam, which infamously included paying $10,000 for a portrait of Trump.
Former prosecutor Bob Bianchi said that the news about Trumps charity folding under the weight of state-level prosecution was possibly more consequential than the days developments related to former Trump aide Michael Flynn.

(2,064 posts)1). State charges can be filed against the *President regardless of DOJ guidelines.
2). State charges cannot be pardoned by the *President
3). Mueller has likely filed sealed indictments against Trump and others as a way for the investigation to continue if he were to be fired. Once they are filed, they cant be unfiled. Mueller could add to them, but Trump cant make them go away.
