Im afraid we are entering a Russian danger zone.

Putin must be entering a "use it or lose it" mode where Trump is concerned. Putin probably knows more than we do about how the investigations are going. Hell, all he has to do is watch Rachel Maddow to know his shiny toy is about to get broken. I really fear a rapid pull out of Syria may be just a beginning.

The Baltic states and Ukraine seem to be likely smash and grab targets. Can't you just hear Sarah Sanders saying, "We don't know that those men and green are Russians."

I half expect Putin to sell Trump out as a finale once Trump is cornered. What better way to sew dissension, fear and suspicion.

Vlad sees that Trumpy is a wastrel. Trumpy senses Vlad’s waning interest and is dangling some bait and hoping that Vlad’s interest will be renewed. So he “announces” the lifting of sanctions when he knows that the Democratic House will laugh in his face and refuse to lift the sanctions, because THEY have the real authority.

Trumpy is getting kicked to the curb and is grasping for one last thread of “deal-making” before he’s done. It won’t work. The fat lady has already sung.

the closer Trump gets to impeachment or being rendered inconsequential by a rebellious and resurgent Congress, the more likely it becomes that Putin will consolidate his gains.

It would be the start of World War 3.

I can definitely see an invasion of eastern Ukraine coming.

The War Powers Act give "Don the Con" the ability to cancel 2020 elections because we are "in a war" [WW3]

That may be his #1 path to being a dictator.

Too many of my non-political friends believe that everything is going to be A-OK now that we have a democratically controlled House. The Con has no life to go back to. Even if his federal crimes are pardoned he still has NY to deal with. His finances are under scrutiny. Everyone knows he's a liar & a fraud. His brand is toast. Hopefully the House will limit some of the damage to come, but the courts will continue to be packed with young right wingers, & our reputation around the world will continue to tank. We are nowhere near out of the woods.

Putty hasn't done a "Gulf of Tonkin" on the Ukrainian boarder and gobbled up more than just The Crimea, other than he didn't want to look too obvious.
