Many years ago a friend and I were going to an event in Manhattan, but it was cancelled at the last minute. So, we decided to got to "Rusty's", his bar on the east side, for dinner. We were sitting at the bar watching the Mets. They were behind going into the bottom of the 9th. So who was announced as a pinch hitter? Rusty Staub. And what did he do? Hit a home run to win the game. The place went WILD. How lucky of us to be there for that.............but there were no free drinks offered, dammit!

Nice story. Once in a while you can be in the right place at the right time.
Screw the drink. It wasn't important.
