I don't expect the Senate Republicans to do anything no matter how much of the country is destroyed. What senator would risk angering 85% of his party?
We hear all the horrible, criminal things he's done and how he's selling out our future for his own profit and believe his crimes will soon destroy him but we are wrong.
Sure, most people in the country are horrified but not Republicans and they are the only people that matter. Democrats, moderates and the justice department are powerless to bring down the president without Republican assistance.
Unless Republican support drops dramatically Trump cannot be impeached, will not go to jail and will be the 2020 Republican candidate. Who knows what condition the US will be in by then but you know Republicans will use every dirty trick they can think of to rig the election again.
What can be done to open the eyes of Trump's Republican cult?
Unless that can be achieved we could be doomed.

Well outside of very bad things happening to the main right media personalities like a terrorist attack or something.

This country is in much bigger trouble than it realizes.
